The Open Door is a business that deals turn key businesses. What that means is that they look for already operational businesses to buy and sell. People could come to The Open Door looking for a new venture or just a quick investment. It would be very professional and attempt to match each customer with the right business to increase not only customer satisfaction but also customer gain. Plus the logo is pretty cool to ;)

I have a huge passion for motorcycles. I also have a love for design, so of course the two would have to come together sometime. I did this design for fun and really fell in love with it. These two brands are very serious rivals in the engineering world.
I have a vision of this being a commercial and another brand of motorcycle riding right through the middle crashing through the letters. The new "break through" bike could have some lines following it, this would allow for some cool line work to happen and move into something else.

We were asked to choose a book and redo its cover. A pretty straight forward project that was pretty challenging.
Now normally collage wouldn't be my first pick of medium, but due to the books content I thought that this was the best solution to the problem.
The book is about getting rid of society and getting closer to the simple life of nature. It is a great book and you should definitely give it a read. The reason I choose this medium is because I wanted to take the lesson from the book and get as far away from the technology possible. After numerous sketches, hours of cutting, countless glue mishaps, and a few photo shop sessions I had the cover done.
Overall this project taught me that good design comes in many forms. It doesn't always have to be clean, simple and neat. Sometimes it can be organic and messy.
This is a picture of the final collage without any edits.
